  • What is Business English?

It is a form of grammar, vocabulary, style and tone of speaking and writing that is used in business situations such as in presentations, letters, emails, reports and meetings.

There are aspects of Business English that are only used in business settings and are not found in school grammar books.

To be an effective and successful speaker and writer, you need both a strong foundation in grammar as well as a strong foundation in Business English.

    Why perfect your Business English?

To match the professional standard of business English used all over the world.     This projects a professional image of yourself and your organisation locally; and especially globally.

We now live in a global environment and we cannot afford, not to keep up with the rest of the business world.

Join our 3-day course and become more valuable to your organisation; contribute more to its success, which in turn leads to greater promotion and success for you.

You'll be given many examples to highlight what you need to learn; and you'll complete various exercises to reinforce your learning.

This is a practical course: Examples and exercises are work-related and can be immediately used for your spoken and written work situations. (Examples and examples given are not repeated in any of our other communication courses.)

This is why it is a 3-day course. Without practice, all learning is merely theory.

At the end of the course, you would have understood and applied:

    • The 7 Principles of Business Communication
    • The correct style and tone for different audiences and communications
    • Business grammar and vocabulary in various business situations, such as presentations, meetings, emails, letters and reports

You are probably already using some aspects of Business English in your work but most likely not all. Refine and perfect that knowledge in our 3-day comprehensive course.

Bonus Value 1: A workbook with detailed explanations, examples and exercises is given to everyone in the course. It also acts as a after the course.reference and refresher

Bonus Value 2: You may ask any question on Business English by email, for 12 months after the course. This service is FREE.

For a comprehensive course to revise and improve your grammar, please refer to our 'Perfecting Your Grammar' Course.
