Objectives:
At the end of the course participants will be able to:
- Apply the 7 principles of effective business communication
- Organise your thoughts and write effective and concise email and letters
- Use the right tone to fit your audience
- Use modern business formats in your email and letters
- Use language tools effectively so as to get the best effect and to leave positive impressions with readers
- Practice email etiquette
Write the format for 4 types of email/letters:
Routine Letters:
- writing letters of enquiry
- answering letters of enquiry
- giving information
- calling for a meeting and other letters
Positive or Good News letters:
- job offers
- confirmations
- promotions
- granting adjustments to customers
- letters of apology
- congratulatory letters
- granting donations and sponsorships and other letters
Negative or bad news letters:
- rejection letters
- warning/termination letters
- refusing adjustments
- retrenchments and paycuts
- rejecting requests for donations/sponsorships
- delaying confirmations
- complaint and other letters
Persuasive Letters:
- sales letters
- collection letters
- replying to complaints and other letters
Bonus: For 6 months after the course participants can ask any question on email/letters by email. The trainer will reply the same day or the next.

Each participant receives $28 from SDF. After SDF funding the fee is $460.

15-lesson Professional Letters and Email Course by Email $450
There are 1 to 10 assignments per lesson depending on what needs to be learnt. We suggest completing a lesson a week with corrections. At this rate the course will be completed within 4 months. When you complete more lessons per week, the course can be completed sooner. A certificate of completion is issued at the end of the course. Download Application Form.
