Many times we shy away, hesitate or are reluctant to speak at work or social situations, because we are afraid we might mispronounce words.
Regain your confidence in pronouncing words correctly in our 2-day course. You’ll learn how to pronounce:
- common words that usually have be mispronounced
- words and phrases, you usually use at work
- any word in the dictionary
You'll sound more refined, be better understood; and impress others at work and in social situations.
Well, it is not entirely your fault; the problem exists because:
- English words, unlike words in our main three Mother Tongues (Mandarin, Malay and Tamil), are not always read phonically (like rat, cat, sat and mat), and
- because, unlike our Mother Tongues, English is a 'stressed' language.
At the end of the 2-day course, you'd be able to:
- Read Phonics and Phonetics
- Identify the differences between 'Singlish' and correct English Pronunciation
- Speak with proper stress and intonation
- Pronounce words and phrases you use at work/business situations
- Pronounce any word in the dictionary by interpreting the pronunciation symbols there
