Writing Brilliant Reports,
Proposals and Staff Papers |

Mr Raja is an excellent
trainer with a wealth of experience and knowledge."
“Mr Raja
is very humorous, interesting and knowledgeable.” “He
is effective because he is able to make the subject simple and give many
illustrations.” - course participants

There is a simple, step-by-step and systematic approach to
writing brilliant reports, proposals and staff papers every time; and you’ll learn how to write them, in our course, even if you have
never written a single report in your life.
The alternative is to learn the skill by trial
and error; which might take
years.
Bonus Value: We
will be at your service (via email) to help you to write your reports,
free of charge, within six (6) months after the course.
You may also consult us, via email, on any matter regarding report writing for
six (6) months after the course.

The
Importance of Report Writing |
As
executives, few things command more respect from our bosses than
our ability to write and present our thoughts systematically and
persuasively, especially when we write reports, proposals or put up staff
papers.
In the
army, staff officers are proudest when our bosses do not read our
reports in detail; but only skim through our recommendations and say ‘Yes’
or ‘No’. This shows their confidence in our abilities to study a situation
thoroughly and systematically and make accurate recommendations. Needless
to say, it may take lots of brilliant reports written over many years to
achieve this enviable standard.
As
executives, with our goal to get into ‘Management’, what separates
the men from the boys (ladies, please pardon the expression, I mean ‘the
children from the adults’ of course), is the ability to write excellent
reports and papers.
In my
2-day course, I am going to cover everything
important I learned and used
about report writing, from my 10 years service as a staff officer in the
army and more than 16 years as a trainer in Business Communication.
I am
convinced that nowhere else, other than the SAF,
do we write so many reports. It is just part of the culture that even
junior officers have to learn to ‘put up papers’. As a result we become
‘experts’.
I will
cover the following in enough detail; so that you do not ever have to
attend another course on the subject:
Formats for writing different
types of reports |
Language for Report Writing |
Writing
Concept Papers |
Writing

Everything you learn in the course will be applicable, perhaps with a
little adaptation, to any working environment. |
| |
How
you learn: |
I will
guide you step by step on how to write the different types of reports. By
the end of the course, you would have written at least: |
One
Investigative Report – preferably on a ‘real’ situation related to your work. |
One
Proposal – preferably on a ‘real’ situation related to your work. |
One
Staff Paper - preferably a ‘real’ paper for your company
that you are working on,
or will be working on,
or would like to work
on. |
Relax! Even if you walk in
as a beginner, you will walk out as an expert.
